Award ceremony for the 11th Calligraphy Competition prize winners from Iran

The results of the 11th International Calligraphy Competition organized by IRCICA were finalized and announced on 20 April 2019 . 613 participants from 38 countries had submitted a total of 835 works to the competition. 52 calligraphers from 11 countries won awards for 66 works. Among the winners, 14 were from Iran.

A ceremony was held in Tehran, Iran on 19 May 2019 where 12 of the calligraphers from Iran were presented their award certificates and prizes. The ceremony took place at the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, in Tehran. Mr. Abuzar Ebrahimi Turkman, Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, was present at the event. Together with Prof. Halit Eren, Director General of IRCICA and Head of the Calligraphy Competition Jury, they presented the prizes to their recipients.

The following calligraphers received their certificates and prizes that day: Ali İrani, Habib Ramezanpour, Vali Mahboubi, Omid Rabbani, Fatemeh Moghimi, Ehsan Ahmadi, Safar Galeshi, Mostafa Abedini, Mohammadreza Pajand, Shahram Rouhi, Reyhaneh Rahmati.
