This second volume in IRCICA’s series “Studies on copies and translations of the Holy Qur’an” is devoted to manuscript translations in Urdu. It has been compiled by Dr. Ahmad Khan, a leading expert of manuscript studies in Pakistan. To compile thsi work Dr. Khan collected data and information from various libraries and all available catalogues. Dr. Khan’s Introduction to the volume is a valuable study which surveys and examines various aspects of the manuscript translations and exegeses of the Quran in Urdu.
