IRCICA has the pleasure to present as e-book, the collection of articles resulting from the international congress on “Ottoman Heritage in the Maghreb” which was co-organized by the Tunisian Association of Urban Studies and Research (Association Tunisienne des Études et des Recherches Urbaines – ATERU) and IRCICA in November 2024, in Hammamet, Tunisia. The beautifully illustrated book contains twelve highly specialized articles – seven in French, five in Arabic – contributed by experts from the region. Featuring a wide range of geographical focuses, the articles reflect the latest outlooks and methodologies, linking urban and architectural processes to societal experiences and memories through the neighborhoods, monuments, infrastructure, arts, preservation and management of heritage. With its scientific merits and abundant information, the book will be an invaluable resource in its field.
