IRCICA Heritage Talks

The Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) is devoted to preserving Islamic cultural heritage around the world and has undertaken many activities to conserve and document that heritage over the years. In keeping with these efforts, the Cultural and Architectural Heritage Section at IRCICA is organizing a monthly seminar/webinar series entitled “IRCICA Heritage Talks”, where leading academics and experts from around the world, will be invited to give talks and discuss relevant and urgent contemporary issues in the field. The series tackle multiple themes including The Meaning of Architectural Heritage / Islamic Heritage in Danger/ Heritage Conservation / Preservation of Memory-place /Islamic Cities and Settlements. etc. The program is intended to provide a platform for intellectual exchange and discussion about research that is related to Islamic culture, history, architecture, and urban heritage.
