Exhibition on the history of Kazakhstan opened in Astana

Prof. Cengiz Tomar, Head of Research and Publications, IRCICA delivered an address on 23 October 2023 in Astana, at the opening of the exhibition titled “Turkestan at the Turn of the Millennium” organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan to mark the Republic Day of Kazakhstan (25 October) and the 10th Anniversary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (Astana, 3 November). The exhibition features 130 original artifacts from the collections of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan” referring to different chronological periods in the history of Kazakhstan.
