The Media, Public Relations, and Impact Expert shall assume his/her tasks under the supervision of the Director General.

Summary of the Job and its Obligations

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Media, Public Relations, and Impact Expert to lead and manage our communication strategies across social media, public relations, and impact reporting. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand visibility, fostering international partnerships, and ensuring our messaging aligns with our mission and values.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Develop and implement integrated media and PR strategies.
  • Coordinate international communications and partnerships.
  • Amplify the organization’s impact through compelling storytelling and data-driven reporting.
  • Support fundraising and engagement initiatives through strategic content and outreach.

Job Description

Media, Public Relations, and Impact Expert will work in the following functions:

1.Social Media Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-language social media strategies in official OIC languages.
  • Create and manage content across platforms: Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp.
  • Oversee digital content for events, publications, and campaigns.
  • Monitor community engagement and respond to interactions.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize strategies.
  • Manage paid campaigns and influencer collaborations.
  • Ensure content security in collaboration with IT.

2. Public Relations & Programs Coordination

  • Build and maintain relationships with international media and public institutions.
  • Coordinate media events and prepare press materials.
  • Monitor activities of international partners and draft intelligence reports.
  • Foster cooperation with media, cultural, and academic institutions in OIC Member States.
  • Seek sponsorships and advertising opportunities.
  • Support international protocol management and coordination of IRCICA programs outside the host country.
  • Draft official communiques and monthly reports in official OIC languages.

3. Impact-Focused Responsibilities

  • Foster brand management and IRCICA reputation.
  • Align liaison with IRCICA’s vision.
  • Highlight impact through storytelling and case studies.
  • Engage stakeholders to amplify initiatives.
  • Monitor media coverage and public sentiment.
  • Report on social/environmental outcomes and impact on activities.
  • Uphold ethical standards and IRCICA values in all communications.

  • Experience in managing budgets of online engagement tools;
  • Familiarity with AI-backed online tools with Excellent computer skills;
  • Familiarity with impact measurement frameworks (e.g., ESG, SDGs, Theory of Change);
  • Multilingual communication skills (AR, EN, FR preferred);
  • Strong organizational and cross-functional project management abilities.

Education

The candidate must at least have a Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s and PhD degrees from an accredited institution in one of the following degrees counts as a plus:

  • A master’s degree in strategic communication; Public Relations or Corporate Communication; International Relations or Global Affairs; Development Studies or Social Impact; Marketing or Nonprofit Management; Digital Media or Multimedia Journalism; Cultural Studies or Intercultural Communication.
  • A PhD degree in Communication or Media Studies; Public Policy or International Development; Sociology or Cultural Studies; Marketing or Strategic Management, Political Science or International Relations.

Work Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in media, PR, and impact reporting roles.
  • Experience working in multicultural and multilingual environments.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field with a background in international or intergovernmental organizations is a plus.

Languages

Native Arabic speaker and Academic proficiency in English and French languages, and preferable to have professional knowledge in Turkish. Any other proficient Knowledge in related languages will be a plus.

General Requirements

  • To be a Muslim national of one of the OIC Member States;
  • To be below thirtyfive years of age;
  • To be free of diseases and infirmities that may hinder the exercise of his/her duties;
  • To be either nominated by his/her State or his/her State should have no objection to his appointment;
  • The date of birth and contact numbers are essential requirements to be available in the C.V.;
  • Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye are not eligible to apply;
  • It may be preferable to have completed their undergraduate and graduate degrees in their own country and their doctorate in a different country that is a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The Architectural and Urban Conservation Specialist shall assume his/her tasks under the supervision of the Chief of the Architectural Heritage Section.

Summary of the Job and its Obligations

The Architecture and Urban Conservation Specialist will assist the Chief of the Architectural Heritage Section in managing projects and research processes within the Section. He/she will contribute to the Section’s leadership of national and international projects by collaborating closely with other unit staff at IRCICA.

Job Purpose

To assist the Head in maintaining and further develop the research capacity and programs of  IRCICA and to establish it as one of the top and primary research centric institutions in the Muslim world by promotion of the research agenda of the department, careful administration, development of innovative programs, and world-class mentorship. To craft and shape the Publications strategy and quality execution for IRCICA.

Job Description

  • Architectural and Urban Conservation Specialist will assist the chief of the section in the following functions:
  • Co-designing and developing projects developed by the IRCICA Architectural Heritage Section;
  • Collaborating with different sections of IRCICA under its departments according to the type of project;
  • Participating in fieldwork of the Architectural Heritage Section;
  • To carry out academic studies such as publications, field studies, conservation projects, workshops, inventory studies, etc. on Islamic architectural heritage protection and urban conservation in the member Islamic countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC);
  • To build up data repositories and other archival and documentary facilities recording the assets of architectural heritage, including fixed assets related to archeology, cities and architectural monuments and movable – tangible and intangible – assets such as manuscript works, library and archive items, audio-visual objects, and materials.

  • Where applicable, have teamwork skills to the Centre’s Architectural Heritage Section to achieve its goals;

  • Ability to conduct research in archives, read Arabic, French, English and Turkish, and translate into these languages is preferred;

Education

The candidate must at least have a PhD degree in Architectural and Urban Conservation or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Work Experience

A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in a related area with at least 5 (five) years of Research in Heritage Preservation.

Languages

Native Arabic speaker and Academic proficiency in English and French languages, and preferable to have professional knowledge in Turkish. Any other proficient Knowledge in related languages will be a plus.
