IRCICA Director General, Amb. Prof. Mahmud Erol Kılıç received the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul Mr. Şerzad Abdunazarov at IRCICA on 4 Jan. 2024. An appraisal of the 12th International Avicenna Readings held in Bukhara (26-28 Oct. 2023) and Prof. Kılıç’s scholarly address at the conference was followed by a recording of Prof. Kılıç’s remarks on Ibn Sina’s importance in Islamic and world civilization. The Consul General’s Adviser Mr. Abdurahmon Muhamedov, IRCICA’s Head of Research and Publications Prof. Cengiz Tomar, and Consultant for Central Asia Activities Prof. Ashirbek Muminov, were present.
