Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA), in cooperation with Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Türkiye, the Islamic Community Council (Majlis) of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Mostar Municipality, are organizing the “MOSTAR 2024” event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the reconstruction and opening of the Old Bridge Mostar. As a part of this event, an international students’ workshop and an international symposium will be held by the co-organizers through 15-24 July 2024.
Professors and students from several international universities in Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, Türkiye, United States of America, Australia, Japan, Egypt and The Netherlands will take a part in this important gathering. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students from around the world will draw architectural and urban intervention proposals for Mostar.
