A high-level delegation from Libya, comprised of Mr. Abdulmutaleb Abu Salem, Heritage Expert, former Chair of IRCICA Governing Board; Dr. Mohamed Al-Jarrari, Head of the Libyan Center for Archives and Historical Studies, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Raied, President of the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce and Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, was received by IRCICA Director General Prof. Mahmud Erol Kılıç on 26 August 2025 for consultations on ongoing cooperation projects. Also attended by the Assistant Director General Prof. Aboubacar Abdullah Senghore; the Chief Advisor/Head of Research and Publications Prof. Cengiz Tomar; the historian Dr. Fazıl Bayat; the Chief of Arts and Handicrafts Mr. Said Kasımoğlu, the meeting focused on the joint project consisting of the preparation by Dr. Fazıl Bayat of the two-volume book on Libya During the Ottoman Era.
