IRCICA condemns in the strongest terms the continuation of genocidal war crimes committed by the Occupation in the Gaza Strip and calls on the international community to intervene urgently in order to stop the brutal Israeli aggression, which is indiscriminately targeting thousands of civilians including women, children, medical personnel, journalists, and displaced people, in addition to the deliberate destruction of buildings, hospitals, schools, residential structures, and places of worship. Moreover, the Centre strongly condemns the extremist remarks by an Israeli occupation government minister regarding the dropping of a nuclear bomb on the besieged Gaza Strip which shows the entrenchment of extremism and brutality among members of the Israeli government. IRCICA takes this occasion to remind that the occupation forces have targeted for many years the Holy City of Al-Quds al-Sharif and especially al-Masjid al-Aqsa al-Mubarak, in blatant violation of international law. The occupation has deprived millions of civilians living in the Gaza Strip of their most basic rights, in addition to continuing to prevent access to food, medicine, water, and electricity. The Centre remains firmly committed to supporting the Cause of Palestine and defending all legitimate rights of the Palestinian people including its right to self-determination and liberation of its lands from occupation.
IRCICA invites the international community to peruse the historical documents gathered by the Centre through official archives and registers relating to the history of al-Quds and Palestine, supported by research papers collected at international academic conferences.
